Janet Jackson Breaks Silence Says Michael’s Legacy ‘WILL CONTINUE’

Janet Jackson broke her silence to speak on the legacy of her late brother following renewed allegations of sexual assault

Though Jackson didn’t directly address the allegations leveled against Michael Jackson in the documentary Leaving Neverland, she told the Sunday Times that she believes Michael’s legacy “will continue.” I love it when I see kids emulating him, when adults still listen to his music.

“It just lets you know the impact that my family has had on the world,” Janet continued, “I hope I’m not sounding arrogant in any way. I’m just stating what is. It’s really all God’s doing, and I’m just thankful for that.”

While many of the Jackson family came forward to slam new allegations made by Wade Robson and James Safechuck in the documentary, Janet remained silent on the accusations her brother faced.

Members of the Jackson family released their own doc in response to ‘Leaving Neverland’ called ‘Neverland Firsthand’, which included comment from Taj Jackson, Brandi Jackson and Brad Sundberg.

In ‘Firsthand’, Robson was called an “opportunist” by Brandi Jackson, while Taj claimed his uncle was ‘taken advantage’ of.

Outside of ‘Firsthand’, Katherine Jackson — Michael and Janet’s mother — spoke to ’60 Minutes’ to say she believed “Wade Robson is lying through his teeth”.

“Anybody can say it that knows it, knows Michael,” she said on the show, “Wade knows better. Wade just wants money.”

While Janet has attempted to avoid making comments on ‘Leaving Neverland’, there were reports back in March that she refused to partake in a musical number for her induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame because it would air on HBO — the same network that produced the documentary.
