Breaking: UBEC chairman and his daughter reportedly kidnapped along Kaduna-Abuja expressway

The board chairman of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), Muhammed Mahmood, and his daughter were reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway today Monday, April 29th.

 

The Cable reports that Mahmood and his daughter were travelling from Kaduna to the federal capital territory (FCT) when suspected kidnappers ambushed their vehicle around Katari, a village few kilometres from Zuba.

The Kaduna-Abuja road has witnessed many cases of kidnappings in recent times.
