Nigerian lawmakers on Wednesday booded President Muhammadu Buhari as he presents 2019 budget before a joint session of the National Assembly.
The incident occured when the president was listing the achievements of his administration.
As he mentioned each achievement, they chorused, ‘No!’.
The development forced the All Progressives Congress lawmakers to clash as the opposition lawmakers booed the President.
“We have weathered the storms and made progress on every front,” They screamed, “Nooooo! Boooo!”
“The economy has recovered well,” the president added, as the lawmakers booed again.
“The world is watching us and we are supposed to be above this,” Mr Buhari lamented.
