The national leadership of APC Youths Renaissance has congratulated the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for leading the party to victory in the just ended governorship election in Ekiti State.

Also the Deputy Whip of the Senate Senator Francis Alimikhena congratulated the newly elected Governor of Ekiti State Dr. Kayode Fayemi for putting up a dogged fight against the ruling party in the state. In a statement signed by its national secretary, Mr. Collins Edwin, the group noted that Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has returned the lost winning streak back to the party ahead of 2019 general elections, saying the ex-Edo Governor has brought good luck and proper coordination to the party. The group added that it has no regret supporting Oshiomhole to become national chairman because he has justified the huge confidence and trust invested in him by leading the party to victory in his first electoral outing as national chairman. The group, however, called on party members to support the national chairman in his efforts to rebuild and reposition the party for greater electoral fortunes in next year’s general elections. While congratulating the Governor-Elect, Dr. Kayode Fayemi for his landslide victory at the polls, the group urged his closest rival and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party as well as other contestants in the race to accept defeat with the spirit of sportsmanship saying the people of Ekiti have made their choice known and that choice should be respected irrespective of any inclination or expectation. Finally, the group urged President Buhari to remain focused in his determination to deliver good governance to Nigerians and never allow himself to be distracted by the futile efforts of the opposition to distract him, saying his victory in next year’s Presidential Election is fully guaranteed. Also the Deputy Whip of the Senate Senator Francis Alimikhena congratulated the newly elected Governor of Ekiti State Dr. Kayode Fayemi for putting up a dogged fight against the ruling party in the state. Senator Alimikhena described the victory as a triumph for our democracy and a clear display that power is from God and does not emanate from human efforts. The Edo North Senator applauded the former Governor of Edo State and APC National chairman Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for his wisdom, political skills and experience in ensuring victory for the APC. According to Senator Alimikhena, Ekiti State election is a sample analysis of what Nigerians should expect in the fourth Coming 2019 election. Adams Oshiomhole had triumphed in his first National task few weeks after he emerged as the APC National Chairman he will duplicate the same success in the 2019 general election. While expressing confidence in the 2019 election, Senator Francis Alimikhena called upon members of the Reform APC to return back home and join hands with the Adams Oshiomhole leadership in redesigning the new political fortune of Nigeria. “We cannot continue to build new structures on a wrong foundation. The Buhari administration inherited a faulty political and economic foundation that was bastardize with impunity and corruption and it Behooves on all of us to come together as Nigerians for the overall interest of our Nation. Our national interest must reign supreme in all our endeavor.” In a statement share by his Personal Assistant Benjamin Atu, Senator Alimikhena congratulated the Ekiti State people for making a wise decision and encouraged them to support the APC administration to reinvigorate the Nigeria economy that was plunged into financial crisis by the opposition party. ‘We have faith in the Buhari’s administration and our confidence in the ability of the APC National Chairman Comrade Adams Oshiomhole is not in doubt.
